About
My background
As a Follower of Jesus Christ, I have had a passion for cross-cultural ministry since coming to faith in Christ at age 16. My Sunday School teacher during high school was a student at LBC and also a native of Haiti. I would practice speaking French with him while also asking him questions about the Bible. In high school, I studied both French and Spanish. During high school, I was also an exchange student in Belgium, where I was immersed in the Flemish language. Then, I attended Lancaster Bible College, where I focused on Greek and Missions.
After graduation, I worked in the business world for many years while being active in ministry in my community. I took a year off and served a year of short-term ministry year in France, where I taught conversational English. Later, I completed an M.Ed in English(focus on linguistics ) at Millersville University. I have been serving as an ESL tutor/teacher for adults in Lancaster since 2004. I am conversant in French and Spanish. |
